Our brand new Grow Your Own British Tree Kit encourages children to form a lifelong connection with nature and contains everything they need to collect, identify and plant native tree seeds. Once they’ve planted their tree, they can watch it grow up alongside them in their own garden. A wonderful way of learning about our stunning native woodlands and the perfect gift to mark any milestone.

Planting and then watching a tree grow alongside you, seeing it get stronger - like you, taller - like you, flourish - like you, is a wonderful experience. The reward of planting a tree seed is not instant, it takes time & requires patience. But the true reward, as with any new life, is witnessing a miracle. The inspiration for this kit came from my son’s tree. He planted an apple pip with his grandparents when he was a little boy. When it was strong enough, together they moved it to it’s final growing position outside of his bedroom window. Time has flown - he is approaching 30 years old and the tree is now taller than him. His tree bears fruit every year and is an anchoring reminder of his childhood and his magical relationship with his grandparents. - Co Founder Jo Jones

Plant a Tree for the Jubilee
April 1st will see The Den Kit Company launch their new Plant a Tree for the Jubilee Kit (£24.50). The kit invites children to be a monarch of their own little outdoor kingdom. Containing nature-inspired activities that include decorating a woven willow crown and sowing native tree seeds, this is a creative, planet-friendly way for every child to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
