Icons Re-imagined

New seating collection from Where Saints Go channels the Mid-Century Spirit

Eclectic homeware brand Where Saints Go has launched a new range of chairs paying homage to an iconic interiors’ movement.

Channelling the spirit of the Mid-Century movement, the six-strong ‘Fabric’ collection combines form and function to fabulous effect.

Each piece in the collection, which includes bar stools, dining chairs and accent chairs, is named after an American city or state in recognition of the country’s help in putting the movement on the map in the late 50s.

Faye Leeming, Brand Manager for Where Saints Go, said: “After the Second World War, America embraced a new way of living that was optimistic and exciting, and the mid-century movement was part of this change.

“At Where Saints Go we wanted to bring together a collection that celebrates the lasting impact the movement had on design, and each piece boasts the form, function and enduring appeal that is often associated with the mid-century movement.”

The collection comprises of the Nevada Dining Chair, Delano Dining Chair, Sacramento Accent Chair, Delano Bar Stool, Miami Dining Chair and the Fontana Dining Chair.

The Nevada Dining Chair is elegant and contemporary. Handcrafted from a metal structure and then wrapped in luxurious padding, it begs to be sat upon. Its Miami counterpart is an instant talking point with its minimalist curves creating a stunning focal point.

Homeowners looking to revamp their breakfast bars can embrace the subtle chic of the Delano Bar Stool. Crafted by skilled artisans, this unique linen fabric bar stool has a comfortable cushioned seat and backrest so it can be used for hours. A dining chair version of the Delano echoes the comfort.

The Fontana Dining Chair is a statement chair which has a nod to the 50s with its simple shape and upholstered finish, while the Sacramento Accent Chair is the star of the show with its sumptuous shape that oozes luxury.

Faye added: “Our range of chairs have been handpicked to enhance those everyday moments, and this collection does exactly that.”

The ‘Fabric’ Collection is available now from Where Saints Go, with prices starting at £189.
