XV Stripes launch coastal-inspired wallpaper collections

Interiors brand XV Stripes have added two new designs to its coastal-inspired wallpaper range: Newton Creek and Kelp Forest.


Newton Creek, which is available in seven colourways, is inspired by a medieval haven renowned for its unparalleled beauty and serenity. Kelp Forest, which references the intricate patterns left by washed-up seaweed on local beaches, is available in six colourways.


Both are available on 70cm wide x 10m drop rolls, printed on FSC-certified paper.


Izzey Hung, founder of XV Stripes, said: “We’re passionate about our wallpaper collections, which weave together hand-drawn illustrations and vibrant colours.


“What I especially love about the new Kelp Forest and Newton Creek ranges is the breadth of colour used across the range. From green and beige to black and orange, we have really pushed the palette to create two collections that embody our coastal-loving ethos, while hitting all the right interiors notes.


“Within each collection lies a rich tapestry of complex, multi-layered designs. Whether you seek a bold statement or subtle accent, there is an coastal-inspired wallpaper waiting to transform your space.”


The new collections come as XV Stripes relaunches its entire wallpaper range, which is now available in rolls. Previously it was available in made-to-measure panels.


Izzey said: “At XV Stripes we love the versatility of wallpaper. Selling by the roll allows our clients to become more creative, using leftover pieces to create accent walls or upcycle old furnishings to create a cohesive interior palette.”


Newton Creek and Kelp Forest join the existing wallcovering collection from XV Stripes. Designs include Cowes Mural – a celebration of all things sailing, Hamble Yachts which illustrates the majesty of yachting and Solent Snapper, which puts sea life in the spotlight.


Solent Cardinals and Seaview complete the line-up alongside XV Stripes’ signature wallpaper which mirrors their iconic striped bedding.

XV stripes was born from a meeting of minds. Founder Izzey Hung nurtured the desire to reflect her love of the ocean, and all things on it and under it – particularly the Isle of Wight & Hampshire – her home. When an intensive search failed to inspire her, with lack of sustainable quality products, she decided the time had come to follow her dream. XV stripes was born.
