These eye-catching baskets are a budget-friendly way of bringing a touch of colour into your home. Embracing the scallop theme, we designed these baskets in partnership with the artisans who handcraft each one. They look striking lined up together, or as a single on summer table, perhaps with flowers.
Available in 5 candy-stripe colours, our jute utility baskets are 18cm x 23cm and £25 each.
The wave edge and interior spiral add an extra design element. Jute fibre grows abundantly, reaching maturity 3 times a year, making it highly sustainable. Jute has natural UV protection and so grows without pesticides. Jute is the softest natural fibre, it is also the hardest wearing, so the products will last and last.

The Braided Rug Company has been expert in all things braid since 2001, sourcing goods from America, India and, most recently, Bangladesh. For over a decade, we have been working with a family-owned jute manufacturer outside Dhaka and visit regularly to develop designs and processes. They are certified members of the ECOTA Fair Trade Forum, a World Fair Trade Organisation.
