Jute is not only a fully sustainable fibre, it is also very hard-wearing, so these bags will last for summers to come. The large size is perfect for a day at the beach, measuring 33x36x26cm and costing £45. The small size is great for every day, measuring 26x23x18cm and costing £30.
The new Calypso and Flamingo colourways are in addition to the navy and red stripe Beni totes, which we continue to sell year after year. 'Beni' is the Bengali word for Braid.

About us: The Braided Rug Company started in 2001 selling American Braided Rugs. In 2010, we decided to create our own range of organic jute rugs, working very closely with a small manufacturing company in Bangladesh. We now sell our jute products (rugs, baskets, placemats, & tote bags) to both wholesale and retail customers. We also sell a range of Eco rugs made from recycled plastic which can live outdoors. We are very proud to support a working community in Bangladesh.
