Specialist wood paint experts Thorndown have unveiled the final two colours in their Somerset Heritage Colour Collection.
Field Green and Hartlake Blue are the latest colours to join the 24-strong range.
Inspired by the British racing car, Field Green is a classic dark green that is elegant, with earthy undertones.
Hartlake Blue is a beautiful and calming shade, inspired by the reflective current of the Hartlake River, close to Thorndown’s factory in Somerset.
Caroline Thornborough, Co-Founder of Thorndown, said: “We created the Somerset Heritage Colour Collection in homage to the countryside surrounding the Thorndown factory. From the ingredients we use down to our paints’ unique names, everything is steeped in the nature around us.
“The striking greenery of Field Green, as well as the chalky azure of Hartlake Blue, embody the countryside on our doorstep and slot seamlessly alongside the other 22 colours of the Somerset Heritage Collection.”
The Somerset Heritage Colour Collection was launched as an 18-strong palette in 2020. Four new shades were added in July 2021 before the final two were unveiled.
Like the rest of the wood paint from Thorndown, the Somerset Heritage Collection comprises technically-excellent water-based eco paint that is virtually VOC-free and boasts exterior grade colour pigments.
