Strong colors have been proven to have a positive effect on the human psyche: stimulating or calming, depending on the color scheme.
These effects can be used specifically in the home.
 
Anna von der Heiden is the founder of the design manufactory AN-NA Design in Germany, near Cologne. She is a designer, artist and art therapist. Of course she is familiar with the effects of colors. In her experience, colored pictures on the walls are particularly suitable for an effective and quick interior makeover.
 
"Even with one or two pictures you can significantly increase the positive effect of a room," says Anna von der Heiden. "Placing colored highlights in an apartment brings an immediate result."
 
The founder has designed a new interior look, using two modules: wall design and cushions. Both can be easily combined due to the special color scheme.
The idea for the current wall design project came about when Anna von der Heiden worked artistically in a course with children and tried out printing techniques. She then developed a series of different designs in her own pictures in her studio. Anna von der Heiden combines watercolour, gouache and acrylic with various printing techniques. She mixes some of the colors herself from pigments.
 
Von der Heiden's principle is to offer different excerpts from one  design. The customer can then put the images together to form a series. But you can also opt for a single motif.
 
There are designs with cheerful painting and bold brush strokes. Other pictures are delicately colored and have watercolor structures. AN-NA Design offers different color families. What they all have in common is the skilful mix of colors.

The wall design is suitable for private living areas. Other possible uses for the designs: Large-format murals for offices, doctor's surgeries or restaurants. Printouts on other materials such as fabric, Kapa or acrylic glass are possible. The designs are also suitable for printing as wallpaper.
