We have often been told by our customers that gifting our blankets and scarves is like sending a ‘hug in a box’, and it sure feels like everyone could do with a hug right now! Our blankets have brought comfort and warmth to many when they need it most and are the perfect way to send love from afar.

The Tartan Blanket Co. is a modern Scottish business with a big heart, focussing on making a positive impact on people and the planet. 

All our blankets, scarves and baby blankets are made from natural and sustainable cashmere, lambswool and recycled wool and woven with care and love. They can all be personalised with names, initials or sweet messages to let loved ones know you are thinking about them. We like to think of this as sending a hug with their name on it. It’s there for them even when you can’t be.

Our new range of care packages offers a hug with extra thoughtfulness. With boxes for all occasions and loved ones, you can gift a hug to missed loved ones, grandparents or new born babies. As one customer described upon receiving one;

Our woollen blankets are crafted with real care and kindness. We have made a positive impact pledge, part of which is our commitment to donate 1% of all revenue to people in need and 1% to the planet. As our co-founder Emma said;
