Our large chunky leather journals are perfect for people who love to write. The rich brown leather is uniquely distressed which gives it a lovely antique leather book look and feel. A leather journal to covert and inspire you to write. Each contains 120 pages (240 sides) of handmade paper made from recycled cotton, which creates a unique texture that is suitable for most pens types (except fountain pens) and sketching.

These great value handmade large leather notebooks / journals can be used as a diaries, journals, and they make a great place to record an exotic or unusual holiday with memories, photos, mementoes and souvenirs.

Scaramanga handcrafts each leather journal and sketchbook and uses semi-vegetable tanned leather; which may result in variances in texture, colour and shading and natural lines and marks on the leather, which may be individual to each journal. There may be differences in the colour of the lining, style and construction of each journal compared to those shown on the website.
All our notebooks – except for the XL sketchbook – contain handmade paper. The handmade paper used in our journals varies and may contain flower petals or other natural fibres and is not suitable for fountain pens and watercolours.
The embossed / tooled designs to the cover of our leather journals will vary from notebook to notebook. There may be some transfer of the natural dye.
