The Novy UP collection of vented downdraft induction hobs is designed for the creative cook, and because everyone has different preferences, there are five separate configurations to suit the cook’s ideal requirements. The B rated 11cm width ventilation tower for each UP model in the range features a unique design – it can extract cooking vapours at surface level and it incorporates a directional tilting valve to purely extract from one side; perfect for use with a shallow frying pan, for example. It is also a downdraft extractor
that rises from the surface to a height of 10cm to quietly and efficiently withdraw cooking vapours in one or both directions from taller pans that are boiling or simmering on the hob(s). It then just needs a push down to be concealed back within the surface again. The ventilation tower’s speeds are adjusted using touch controls on the hob’s surface.

Two powerful flex-zone domino hobs on either side of the central ventilation tower enable total cooking freedom, with the ability to bridge the zones and to place the pans anywhere on each hob. Each side features a large and smaller octagonal zone and extraction can be controlled and adjusted from the hob on either side using the tilting valve. Each hob has nine power levels and extraction speeds can be adjusted using touch controls on either domino hob.
