Like all of our rugs and textiles, each Medina Tangier Footstool has the look and feel of wool but is in fact made entirely from recycled plastic bottles.

Inspired by traditional Moroccan pouffe design, our Tangier Footstool combines a simple monochrome design in brown and off-white on a hard-wearing, textured finish. For matching cushions and rugs, see our full Medina collection.

Made using the same flatweave material as our extra-tough Medina rugs, Tangier Footstools feature a machine-washable removable cover for easy cleaning and a plant-based inner made from BioFoam®. A brilliant alternative to polystyrene, BioFoam offers all the properties of man-made foam yet is made only from vegetable materials and is fully biodegradable (but don't worry, it has a life span of around 50 years!).

Soft, stain-resistant, machine washable and great for indoor or outdoor use, our footstools are perfect for pet owners, red wine lovers and beachgoers, as they are mould resistant, incredibly easy to clean and hard-wearing. Moths won't eat them and dust mites won't live in them, so they are great for allergy sufferers too.
